Security officers help prevent and manage security situations ranging from vandalism and property protection to loitering and disruptive interactions at a business or establishment. They must constantly rely on their training and watchful eye to also identify situations that may not be as common but can save someone from a dangerous situation. Although training for uncommon situations may seem unnecessary at face value, it is repetition that creates muscle memory and develops intuition; it is this type of training that keeps clients, the public, and security officers safe and in tune with potentially dangerous situations.
